DATING JAPANESE-MADE FENDER INSTRUMENTS<\/h3>\n

Records on early Japanese-made Fender instruments are not complete and are therefore not completely definitive for dating purposes. As always, serial numbers should only be used as a\u00c2\u00a0guide<\/em>\u00c2\u00a0for dating and should be used in combination with known age-related specifications to help identify the production year of an instrument.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

This was a running change, and both \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Made in Japan\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Crafted in Japan\u00e2\u20ac\u009d decals appear on instruments from 2007 and 2008.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
